A beautiful place to visit, a great place to live!

Casey Jones' last public appearance in November 2001 at the Frederic Depot/Museum.

The Soo Line Depot building was erected in 1901 and served the village and surrounding area until 1982. The depot was renovated in the early 1990s and was converted into a museum. In 2003 the depot was listed in the National Registry of Historic Places.
